It can be plain, but if it has a bright or bold logo/saying on it, that's even better. If you can't find one, buy a regular t-shirt and cut it so that one part of it falls off your shoulder a bit. You can wear a tank top/spaghetti strap shirt underneath this if the idea of having your shirt fall down over your shoulder scares you a little bit. You don't even have to worry if they match your shirt, because this is the 80s! Who cares? As long as you buy some neon tights/bright tights, you'll look totally awesome! These were really popular in the 80's, and will really add to the 80's look. Again, bright colours are good, and don't worry if the colours don't 'match'. Converse was very popular in the 80's, and are back in style now! The good thing about Converse is that you can wear them even after the 80's party is over! If you have a crimping iron, that's perfect! If not, ask friends/family if they own one. If not, that's okay too. If you have a crimping iron, crimp your hair (including your bangs if you have them), and put it into a high ponytail that's off to the side. If you don't have a crimping iron, put your hair up into a high ponytail that's off to the side and tease it as much as possible so that it's poofy and frizzy (tease your bangs as well- if you have them). Finish off your hair with a spritz of hairspray to hold everything in place. If you want, put a headband on for more of a 'workout' style
Blue eyeshadow is really good. Another good 80's colour is orange. Put on as much of it as possible and spread it up to your brow bone. This will complete your 80's look. Turtlenecks were incredibly popular throughout the decade, especially when worn under an wild-colored thick, itchy sweater.In the early 80s, men rocked a thick mustache, but by the end of the decade they had become much less popular. Chest hair and gold medallions were not exposed much past 1984, except by your creepy uncle.Men’s clothing in the eighties was snug fitting and comfortable. Soft fabrics were everywhere and, while they clothes were still tight compared to today, they weren’t skin tight like the seventies.
